Water for Timor is a fundraising initiative of Ossu friend and committee member Luke Keighery. Luke will walk the full 800km length of the Camino (Francés) in just 40 days.
Why? To raise $100,000 to fund the WaSH Clean Water Project that will solve Ossu’s pressing water and sanitation issues.
Walking the Camino will be a mental and physical challenge for Luke. He has shown immense dedication to his preparation waking up at 5.30am every morning and walking 13km before breakfast.
Donations to Luke’s Water for Timor will be applied in full to the WASH project—Luke will fund his own trip to Spain including all meals, accommodation, flights and his time – 40 days to finish the journey.
Individuals are encouraged to donate via Luke’s everyday hero page: https://wateraidpersonalchallenge.everydayhero.com/au/luke-keighery
